Logistics Services Through an Integrated Transportation Structure

Utoc employs a structure that allows it to coordinate all parts of the process, from cargo-handling to local transportation and installation, within the Group, through import/export, customs clearance, and warehousing work that can accommodate all types of cargo, to provide the optimal transportation solutions. In addition, Utoc has been certified as an authorized warehouse operator and an authorized customs broker under the AEO Program, enabling the company to provide fast and appropriate customs clearance.

Utoc employs a structure that allows it to coordinate all parts of the process, including customs clearance, warehousing, cargo-handling, and local transportation and installation, within the Group, utilizing its track record of transporting all types of cargo, from general cargo to large plant equipment, to propose the optimal transportation plans based on the requests of the customer.

Customs clearance work
As a business operator with a security management and legal compliance structure conforming to the AEO Program, Utoc was certified as an authorized warehouse operator in March 2010 and as an authorized customs broker in March 2011. Utoc thoroughly implements compliance and leverages its expert knowledge of trade to provide fast and appropriate customs clearance.

Overseas transportation
In collaboration with overseas Group companies, Utoc conducts import/export customs clearance, overland transportation, ocean transportation, and equipment installation/dismantling work for a variety of cargo, from food products to heavy goods, shipped to the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other North American regions, as well as to China.

Warehousing
We operate several bonded warehouses which is next to container terminals in Tokyo and Yokohama port area.In addition to handling import/export CFS cargo, we also handle heavy and long cargo. In 2016, we also began operating an inland warehouse. In the warehouse, we manage the cargo using our original warehouse system by bar-coded to increase operational efficiency.
